The project

hotelsburbuja.com is a site in a narrow niche: renting “bubble hotels” — transparent dome cabins for a night out in nature. The main market is Spain, later expanded to a handful of Latin American countries. The site is entirely in Spanish, with no other locales.

The project is monetized through an affiliate program that pays out per confirmed booking. That’s why this case study can show real revenue, not just traffic and rankings.

Technically

The site is built on Tilda. The basic technical setup (indexing, page speed, site structure) was solid from day one, and no significant technical issues came up over the whole nine-month period we tracked, which let us focus almost entirely on growth work.

Starting point

The domain was registered 3–4 months before work began and sat idle. A homepage went up after that and was left untouched for another month. Active work started in November 2025 — a completely clean slate, with no prior traffic or backlink history.

02

Budget and goal

We didn’t set any traffic KPIs — in a CPA model, traffic for its own sake is meaningless; what matters is visits that turn into bookings. The target was a specific, financial one:

Starting conditions

$300 a month on link building for 6 months, aiming to reach at least $400/month in revenue.

03

Keyword research and site structure

In November 2025 we built the keyword core by exporting data from Semrush and structured the site as “country → region → city.” For Spain, the original single focus market, the hierarchy came out shorter: home → region → city.

When other countries (Andorra, for example) were added later, they got an extra layer: home → country → region → city. The mismatch in depth between markets never caused any indexing or ranking issues.

Bubble Hotel Structure
Bubble Hotel Structure

Most of the work from the second half of November through mid-January went into publishing landing pages. That stage ended with:

144 landing pages across cities, regions, and countries
~60 listing cards for bubble-hotel properties

Starting in February, we worked specifically on how the snippet looks — rating, image, and description via structured data — and it showed up directly in CTR.

Current snapshot from Ahrefs. These aren’t long-tail terms — they’re the niche’s core commercial keywords, and almost all of them are in the top 3 (the few outside the top 10 in the full export are other brand names or a different accommodation type, glamping).

Revenue

Revenue ($) Affiliate payouts
Important caveat

Affiliate payouts arrive with a 2–3 month delay — July’s revenue reflects March–April bookings, not July’s. Adjusting for that lag, the $400/month goal has effectively already been reached for more recent booking periods; the money for those just hasn’t landed yet. Around 30% of bookings don’t end up confirmed overall, which is a normal rate for this niche.

06

Challenges

01 Inconsistent structure across markets.

Since expansion beyond Spain wasn’t planned from the start, the structure depth ended up different for Spain versus other countries. In practice this caused no issues — markets outside Spain contribute little revenue anyway, due to lower demand and purchasing power.

02 A Tilda quirk.

A platform limitation meant we had to manually replace more than 1,000 referral links on the site by hand — a couple of hours of work, but straightforward to fix.

07

What worked best

01 Keyword research and structure

Thorough keyword work for Spain and a well-thought-out landing page template (2–3 working days to build) — the foundation everything else stands on.

02 Link building

This is our strongest area: combining PBN, topical guest articles, and a forum-driven profile delivered fast, durable growth in a competitive commercial niche.

08

What we can do for you

We offer full-scope SEO, but our biggest strength is tying link building and keyword research together with site structure. We handle technical SEO fully too, but we don’t treat it as our main differentiator — we set it up once at the start of a project and check on it periodically after that.
